Lung Nien Lee | Chairman of Citi Private Bank, South Asia
Lung joined Citi Private Bank as Chairman of South Asia in September 2020 with primary responsibility for business development and new client acquisition in South Asia. In addition to his Chairman role, Lung was also appointed Head of South Asia and Global Market Manager for Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand in August 2023. In November 2023, Lung was appointed the Asia South Cluster Head of Private Bank.
Lung is a seasoned professional with over 30 years in the financial services industry. Prior to joining the Private Bank, Lung was CEO for Citi Malaysia from 2014 to 2020. Other roles before this included Co-Head of Corporate Sales and Structuring in Citi’s Markets business and Chief Operating Officer for Singapore and AML Business Head for Asia.
Lung is a qualified Fellow Chartered Banker. He is a member of the Citi Private Bank Global Leadership Team. He is also an active member on a number of boards.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Magna Cum Laude from Chaminade University in the U.S.
